We went to the doctor yesterday for the 9 week check-up. Well, we don't have a blob anymore. It actually looks like a baby. We were able to see the brain, back bone, the nubs where the arms and legs are.
During the exam the doctor stopped the doppler and the baby was going crazy. It was moving so much. It even waved it's little nub at us. It was amazing. Of course I couldn't feel anything but it was still really neat to see that little guy or girl moving around.
The final picture shows the actually size of the baby. It's as big as your pinkie nuckle.
The heart beat was 161 bpm this time. Shall we start taking bets as to what it will be? Everyone keeps telling me that it's a girl because of the heartbeat. We shall see.
