Elliott's FIRST Birthday

Since, Elliott's birthday was in the middle of the week and grandparents were leaving for the weekend we decided that we would have a small birthday cupcake party for Elliott on his birthday and a few weeks later have a party with his friends.

Here is Elliott on skype with Nanny and Papaw. Grandma and Grandpa came over and we got to see him eat his cupcake. He wasn't too sure what to do with it. We had to put a little of the icing in his mouth for him to realize that he could eat the cupcake. He made a mess everywhere, but the dogs were helpful in cleaning up.

Opening presents. Lots of blocks  

Party with friends. As you can see he did not like to get his hands in the cake but later enjoyed the cake. Don't worry I made two cakes. 

Elliott going swimming with Nanny Alice and daddy. It took him a long time to get used to the idea of being in the water but once he realized that he wasn't going home and not getting out the pool he started to warm up to the idea. 

The last time I got to go swimming with Elliott before I had Caleb. It really took the pressure off the belly.
