As some of you know we recently got a new dog. A golden retriever named Matix. We got him on Friday afternoon from one of the clients at work. It has taken us all weekend to come up with a name for him. Just to list a few that we thinking about were: Rellik (Killer spelled backwards), Tracker, Stryker, Butters and Ammo. We finally settled on Matix. It fits him very well.
The nights are rough right now just because he is not used to sleeping in a kennel and not getting what he wants when he wants it. Things are very different between Matix and Beretta when she was a puppy.
Aren't they so cute sleeping together? He likes to sleep pretty close to Beretta, but not to close. He likes his space.

I promise they were just playing. The picture looks worse then it really is. Beretta loves playing with the new puppy. He is small now but he will soon give Beretta a run for her money.
They love to play tug of war with each other. Beretta mostly pulls Matix around. He has a good grip though and can hang on for a long time. Matix loves to act bigger than he really is.
